Rachael has over 20 years of experience in education. Her passion for the field began in high school when she worked and tutored in a special education class, and discovered her ability to develop lesson plans that can be adapted to various learning styles.
After operating her own daycare for over 15 years, working with children, young adults, and adults with disabilities, Rachael went to Sprott Shaw Community College in Victoria, BC to upgrade her office skills and graduated with an honours diploma. Her passion, experience, and friendly manner make her a tremendous asset to Q College.
Rachael’s responsibilities include being the primary point of contact for students, funders, and corporate clients. As the senior education administrator, she works closely with instructors to ensure they deliver the current curriculum. Rachael also plays a key role in processing registrations and payments, as well as in organizing on- and off-campus events.
Taking on the role of campus funding officer, Rachael constantly updates information for the two Q College campuses. Students who approach her for financial assistance can be sure of receiving updated information on funding options that meet their educational needs.
